Trouble getting FIR?
We know. Somebody’s working on it.
Update 4-Nov: The problem was resolved by Libsyn yesterday evening. Turns out the problem was to do with Libsyn’s domain name listing in Whois. To cut a long story short, Libsys say they’re changing their domain registrar. So, you should be able to retrieve the shows as per normal including via iTunes and Yahoo! Podcasts. I just manually downloaded #82 from the normal link, and that was fine. If you do continue having a problem, use the link Shel included in this post, above. - Neville.
The service that hosts and serves up our audio files, LibSyn, is sort of out of commission right now, per their message on their home page:
We are having a DNS issue that may be out of our hands. We have contacted our registrar who responded that we may be affected by issues with some of their “core servers” that announce the IP address for our domain. We are working to resolve this issue and will keep you guys updated.
You can get to LibSyn at their dot-org address (www.libsyn.org), but that won’t help you get our podcast. Check back every now and then to see if LibSyn has resolved the problem. As soon as Neville or I find that the issue has been resolved, we’ll add a follow-up to this post so you’ll know that FIR is once again available and ready for download from LibSyn.
Shel - I would be happy to host FIR for now, if you need someplace to post it. My server has no bandwidth restrictions, so if you need space, feel free to email me and I’ll put it up and send you a link. Or skype me at mikestrock.

Seems like it’s back in action now! Thanks for the note,
