  1. Glad to hear you two had fun at your Geek Dinner in Atlanta and your Geek Lunch in NYC.

I’ve got a Custom Scoop story for you. It turns out that I signed up as a Custom Scoop beta tester way back when. I’d forgotten about this, because I hadn’t heard anything for months. Then I started getting twice-daily messages which said no clips had been found. This seemed a bit odd, so I dug out my password, logged in, and took a look at my settings. It turned out I had managed to exclude clips in English. Oops! Once I fixed that, I was overwhelmed with clips. Still, the clips on that particular keyword didn’t seem much more useful to me than what Google Alerts was finding. I’ve now switched keywords and limited the search to mainstream media, and am waiting to see how that develops.

  2. Hi there,

Thanks again for the great conversations that night - I had a blast. I will be getting in touch with both of you shortly to pick your brains some more if you have the time! Thanks again for everything!
