  1. Hi guys,

Thanks for replying to my email. Due to the vagaries of corporate life I cannot listen to the podcast here at work, but will certainly look forward to the end of the day when my bus trip home will allow me to enjoy it on my mp3 player.

Having just devoured seven episodes of your report in the last 7 days (gotta love mp3 players!) I suddenly realised I was podding before podcasting existed as a term—more details at my blog: bettercomms.blogspot.com.

Keep up the GREAT work and really love the show (and regarding your intro music—who is it? it’s great!)

  2. Hey guys,
I am guessing it was a great show, unfortunately I can’t listen to it on the iPod on the run - Steve’s part is just too low in the mix.
More feedback when I get a quiet corner.

  3. Guys,
First off: Love the show (and your individual blogs).  It’s a great supplement to the blog and web surfing I already do and often am doing while listening to you.

The interview with Steve Rubel was great.  Neville’s comments on Rubel being safe from criticism because he reports more than offers commentary brought into focus a sense that had been in the back of my mind whenever I read his stuff.  It’s almost like I slip back into “news” state of mind rather than needing to filter out opinions and asides from other bloggers.

There’s nothing wrong with either approach and both I feel are needed but I really wanted to thank both of you for finally clearing up a nagging feeling I always had about Rubel.

    Keep up the good work,
    —Chris

  4. Hi guys,

Thanks for the differences regarding bulletin boards and blogs - the ‘locus of control’ is a big issue for me. It means that Subject Matter Experts can control the flow of discussion, rather than any old bugger spitting vinegar and wanting being taken seriously. The SMExpert issue is even more important internally.

As an aside, I notice that the link to my blog you kindly inserted into the show notes for the 21st doesn’t ‘highlight’ when you roll over it…

And now for something completely different:- I will shortly be presenting to a client’s senior management regarding the new technology (I, like you, am an evangelist) and have posted a draft of my presentation. I would seriously welcome your thoughts, comments, brickbats and bouquets on my draft: http://bettercomms.blogspot.com/

Cheers and have a great Easter!

    Lee
