So, until Thursday, June 15…
Hi Shel and Neville,
I really enjoyed the “microformats” contribution from Shel and especially the possibilities it provides on the Intranet.
I have been thinking about this “open way” of sharing information for quite a while. As you mentioned Shel, it could facilitate and increase the flow of information, all of which could be aggregated in “one place”.
What would be very interesting though if this “one place” could be customised to the needs of the individual employee, based on a set of company wide tags.
Another, interesting feature, which may have implications in terms of “internal message control”, is if employee use the tags on infomation left on “open spaces” like wiki’s. Everybody can publish there, unlike on Intranets.
Best regards,
Marcel de RuiterPosted by Marcel de Ruiter on 06/13 at 09:35 PMHi Guys,
This one’s asking for some listener input.
I’m running a couple of ‘What’s possible with the New Media’ sessions with both a Water and Oil company over the next few months. Seeing as i’m being paid to do these, it won’t be a session for banging on about Activ-Media products and services.
If there are listeners who are doing innovative work on internal / external comms or training, please feel free to air these experiences on the show (if ok with Shel and Neville) or mail me direct on .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
Short case studies would be ideal! I’ll make sure you get full credit in the presentations. The sessions are intended to be ‘neutral’, and will not be biased towards any specific technology or media.
I’m continuing to enjoy the show. It should be ‘required listening’ for anyone in the business!
All best,
Matt
