  1. Thank you for using the student’s questions.  That was fun.  Perhaps this will spur on more submissions by others.  As for the students, we’ll keep generating some every so often.

Enjoyed the interview with Loïc Le Meur.  Again, the part of this program that is so impressive is the ease with which you continually reach across the globe to chat with various personalities.

From the first radio broadcasts to the first TransAtlantic phone call - who would’ve thought that now VOIP (with a $13/10euro Skype account) and a $500 PC would make creating clear programming so easy.

OK, maybe you have a better PC (and the $48 mixer), but you get my point.

    Too cool.

  2. Thanks Robert.

We enjoyed listening to Erica’s and Nicole’s questions and including them in the show. Hope our commentary to those questions made some sense.

    Please keep ‘em coming!

  3. I couldn’t hear Shel!  :bug:

  4. Yeah, Jeremy, I know, I know…

I’m using a sound mixer now. The level for the headphone inputs (all sound other than my voice) is right next to the mike level. Loic and Neville were at dramatically different levels, so I was constantly moving the level up and down to try to “ride the gain” (as I’ve learned it’s called). In the process, I accidently nudged the mike input. This is all new to me; I’m figuring it out. It won’t happen on Thursday’s show, though…for certain!

  5. Well, on the bright side, you know I’m listening. This was my 4th Report :cheese:

  6. From this week, we’ll be doing two shows a week.

    That’s great!

Timid suggestion: would it be possible to have the interviews recorded as separate files?
