Production of FIR #484 wasn’t completed—almost, but not quite—before I had to go deliver my afternoon keynote. I’ll wrap it up between flights and when I get home Thursday night. The show will be available by Friday morning. Sorry for the delay!—Shel

At the outset of his working career, Joe served in a number of positions with the Federal Government. From 1978 to 1979, he served as Legislative Assistant to the Hon. Ed Lumley, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance. From 1980 to 1983, Mr. Thornley served first as Legislative Assistant and then as Executive Assistant to the Hon. Francis Fox, Minister of Communications. In 2008, he was elected Chair of the Canadian Council of Public Relations Firms, the industry association of Canada’s leading public relations consulting firms.
