  1. Re your discussion on crisis mgmt. I heard on CNN that a group protesting the handling of ‘lead in paint on toys’ were planning to target the VC holding group of ToysRUS and Dollar Store rather than the chain brands themselves. A side comment to the story was that the PR firm for the VC holding group was not answering the phone to CNN. Seem to confirm your comments regarding having staff available to handle the unexpected. Or as Monty Python said once ‘No one ever expects the Spanish Inquisition’ ( Ref1: YouTube link to sketch1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZQI0Xm29To

  2. In the name of exploring social media, I checked out the Playboy U site. Seeing as I am a graduate student, it shouldn’t have been a problem for me to join.

However, Playboy U only allows .edu email addresses. In Canada, our domains usually end in .ca, and this holds true for educational institutions.

It looks like Playboy U excludes high schoolers, old dudes, your mom, and Canadians—or anyone attending an educational institution that doesn’t end in .edu.

  3. I enjoyed and agreed with your thoughts on online posting and commenting. Clipmark’s Eric Goldstein posted a really great YouTube video in which he discusses comments policy and respectful behavior in the Clipmarks community. I thought you might be interested in taking a look http://youtube.com/watch?v=mumX6t7qYGg.

Thank you for another great episode Shel and Neville!
