  1. Admittedly what I know about the advertising business could be painlessly inscribed on my thumbnails in block letters, but CPM doesn’t seem like a good way to go for podcasts. I would expect many niche podcasts to be great places to advertise specialized, big-ticket items appropriate to the audience, even if the audience is only a few hundred people. I’ll have to listen to Eric’s whole interview to see whether having the context makes sense of Rick Klau’s statements.
