  1. Great information here! It is interesting to consider how online engagements can move beyond just likes, comments and shares because, of course, a users engagement is going to be commensurate with their participation.

    I’m noticing that forums are playing a big part in the success strategies of websites that rank for important terms. Forums give users an opportunity to create their own threads and take ownership of specific, niche-related subjects.

    Also, polls can be a really good way to increase user engagement. However, perhaps paradoxically, the most effective polls need not be very long. In fact, I think a good approach is to write content and add a polling question at the end and to also allow those polling results to be visible.
