As long as Josh Wolf came up in the discussion, we figured we’d offer the following information:

First, a reminder that a fund-raising show for Josh is planned this Saturday, August 19, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., at Cafe la Bohème, 3318 24th St., San Francisco. Admission will be free and donations will be much appreciated. Entertainers will include, among others, Diamond Dave Whitaker of Enemy Combatant Radio and musician John Staedler (http:// johnstaedler.com). Chuck Gonzalez will be DJ. Speakers will include, among others, Josh’s mother, Elizabeth Wolf-Spada; his uncle Harland Harrison, who is Libertarian candidate for Congress from San Mateo County; and Krissy Keefer, Green Party candidate for Congress from San Francisco’s east side; and yours truly, representing the National Writers Union.

If you can’t attend and want to help Josh defray his legal costs and keep his apartment, you can donate in either of two ways:

Josh reports through his website that he’s in good health and spirits, and resolute on keeping his unedited video footage out of the grand jury’s hands. He’ll welcome your letters. Send them to Federal Correctional Institution, Joshua Wolf 98005-111, 5701 8th St. Camp-Parks, Unit J2, Dublin, CA 94568.
