Willis Turner The top 3 things social and marketing organizations should look into and advance to become relevant are: (1) Gamification, because if you’re not paying attention to gamification, you’re behind the times. Gamification means you apply the principles of gaming to business problems; (2) Developing personal brand. If you don’t update your Linkedin profile, or have presence on Facebook, Twitter or other social media channels, you’re irrelevant in the marketplace. Your brand has to have integrity and credibility. Remember that most buyers today are doing research on the seller even before they talk to the seller; and (3) Make a contribution, do something to give back. Because at the end of life, it’s not about the pay check, it’s about making a difference.
